Privacy

Speech recognition and enabled Light Cleanup run locally on your Mac. TessFlo does not send audio or transcript content to its licensing service. An internet connection is used when you request model downloads, use licensing features, or check for updates. Read the Privacy Policy for the full details.

Wispr Flow says transcription always happens in the cloud. Its data controls let you choose whether your dictations are used to improve its models and whether they are stored in the cloud; see its data controls page.

Cost over time

TessFlo costs $13 once after the free trial. At the annual rate of $12 a month, Wispr Flow Pro is $144 a year; its free plan covers up to 2,000 words a week on desktop.
