Can I use TessFlo without Accessibility permission?
Yes. Choose Use clipboard instead during setup, then paste completed text with Command+V. Recording still needs Microphone permission.
Does local dictation mean I never need the internet?
No. You need a connection for installation, model downloads, trial startup, purchase and licensing tasks, and update checks. Installed speech recognition runs locally while your access remains valid.
Does 100% mean a model is ready?
Not yet. TessFlo checks the installation after downloading. It may also need to prepare the model when you start dictation.
Why are captions missing?
Select and install Best Quality, then enable Show recording overlay and Live captions. Balanced and Fast provide text after recording without captions.
Does saving a spelling train recognition?
No. Vocabulary applies your preferred spelling to matching recognized text. If TessFlo consistently hears a different phrase, use a word replacement for that phrase.
Why did a completed dictation not paste?
First recover it with Latest dictation → Copy, then paste manually. Check the destination, automatic-paste setting, and Accessibility permission. Follow Text won’t paste if it keeps happening.
Will automatic updates interrupt a recording?
Automatic checks do not install updates. An installation you requested waits until active dictation and processing finish, then may restart TessFlo.
Does deleting History erase every copy?
No. Clipboard contents, exports, backups, and text in other apps are separate copies. Uninstalling TessFlo also leaves separately stored data.
When does the trial start?
When you first start dictation while online. Installing TessFlo or downloading a model does not start it.
I cannot find my license key. Should I buy again?
No. Check your Polar purchase email and TessFlo Pro → Manage purchase. If you still cannot find it, contact support with your purchase email and order reference.
